Jonathon Hathaway is a Senior Systems Engineer at a small private consulting firm, an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves, and an Assistant Professor at the National Intelligence University. He has over 20 years of experience supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community, Department of Defense and academia in intelligence collection and analysis; counter-terrorism; political and military issues, specifically in Africa and Europe; and systems engineering as it relates to geospatial technologies. His research interests include political conflict, military geography, technological innovation and integration, human-environmental interactions, and Africa.
