The BSOS Commencement Ceremony, featuring GEOG students, took place at 7 p.m. on May 22 at the XFinity Center.

The University of Maryland’s Department of Geographical Sciences is thrilled to extend its heartfelt congratulations to each one of our graduates this year.

This academic year, 120 students graduated from our Department with degrees in Geographical Sciences, including Ph.Ds, Master of Science degrees in Geographical Sciences, Geospatial Information Sciences (GIS), and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), as well as Bachelor's degrees in Geographical Sciences.

These dedicated individuals have shown exceptional commitment to understanding the complexities of our world and addressing global environmental change. The Department looks forward to the future contributions these students will make in the field of geographical sciences.
