Doctoral candidate Yuhan Rao is selected as the Community Fellow by Federation of Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) for 2019. He will be serving as the community fellow for one of ESIP's collaboration area -- Machine Learning.

ESIP is a community of data and information technology practitioners focusing on Earth science interoperability efforts. It has six committees and more than two dozens of clusters focusing on various topics, including technology, policy, education, user and community involvements. Yuhan has been selected as the community fellow for ESIP Machine Learning Cluster to advance the community collaboration on applying machine learning techniques to Earth science.
