On May 12th, 2017 Five Year BS/MS student James Moy was presented with the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award for the 2016-2017 academic year. The award was presented by Director of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Ronald Luna.
James was chosen for this award based on his stellar work as a teaching assistant for Dr. Naijun Zhou's GEOG373: Geographic Information Science course. Dr. Zhou noted that, despite many years of excellent TAs, he had never felt compelled to nominate one for this award until he began working with James.
Congratulations James!
