Julia Bell, a top 2018 GEOG graduate and recipient of the department's prestigious James R. Anderson Award, was recently featured in the BSOS Alumni Career Spotlight. In her interview, Julia gives valuable career advice regarding her position as a Solution Engineer on the National Government Defense Team at Esri.  She also gives insight into what a typical day is like, what undergraduate coursework best prepared her for her current work, and the critical hands-on experience internships provide to students. Julia credits her two summers interning at Esri as the most helpful way to explore her interests as well as gain essential skills.
