Kathleen Stewart, Professor, Geographical Sciences and Director of the CGIS, has been appointed to serve on the Department of the Interior’s National Geospatial Advisory Committee. This Federal Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations relating to the management of Federal and national geospatial programs, the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, and implementation of the recent Geospatial Data Act among other activities.
