Meghavi Prashnani presented a paper and a poster displaying her research at the ISPRS/GEOGLAM Workshop hosted by the Mahalanobis National Crop Forecasting Center in Delhi. The paper was on agricultural expansion in Assam and the poster was on site-suitability for Rhabi crops. After the meeting, she did a crop tour visiting several farms in Madhya Pradesh with her advisor Chris Justice. Megahvi is developing a proposal to study land use change on smallholder farms, focusing on soybean expansion and two season multi-cropping using remote sensing.
