Dr. Alyssa Whitcraft, executive director of NASA Acres, explained how satellites can help the agriculture industry in a recent live radio interview on The Big Show.

The Big Show, whose main audience is Midwest farmers, invited Whitcraft to discuss NASA Acres' groundbreaking initiatives that use space technology to provide valuable information to U.S farmers. Hosted by David Geiger, the interview focused on the capabilities of satellites in crop observation.

"We have new models, machine learning, AI, all these kind of different things, and bring the value of them specifically down to U.S. farmers and to the U.S. agri -food system," said Whitcraft.
