Third year PhD student "Tony" Dong Chen won the Outstanding Student Paper Award under the Global Environmental Change category at the 2013 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Conference in San Francisco. The title of his paper was, "Mapping stand-age distribution of Russian forests from satellite data."
