GEOG PhD student Kelly Anderson has been chosen by the American Association of Geographers Human Dimensions of Global Change Specialty Group to receive $500 towards dissertation research in Mozambique. Kelly will be recognized during the Awards Luncheon at the 2016 Annual American Association of Geographers Meeting in San Francisco.

The Human Dimensions of Global Change Specialty Group promotes research, teaching, and service that in one way or another involves the human dimensions of global-scale processes that affect or are affected by environmental changes. Each year the group offer awards through research competitions with the aim of supporting student research projects at the graduate level.
