PhD student Rachel Lamb was awarded a 2018 Harvey Fellowship from the Mustard Seed Foundation. She was selected as one of nine fellows from an initial pool of more than 150 applicants. Rachel is a second year PhD student and the Harvey Fellowship provides a $48,000 award to support Rachel’s work to advance the socio-economic applications of NASA Carbon Monitoring System products.
The Harvey Fellows Program provides financial support to Christian students who are pursuing graduate studies at premier universities in fields traditionally underrepresented by Christians, and who possess exceptional leadership and academic abilities, and a unique vision to impact society through their vocations. Initiated by the Mustard Seed Foundation in 1992, the Harvey Fellows Program seeks to mark, equip and encourage individuals to actively integrate their faith and vocation as leaders in strategic occupations.
