At last week's AAG Annual Meeting, PhD Student, Rachel Lamb, presented her work entitled "Geographies of management opportunity: incorporating the co-benefits of afforestation into climate policy and planning." This presentation focused on emerging opportunities to advance the socio-economic applications of existing carbon monitoring products for Maryland. Rachel participated in the AAG Landscape Specialty Group's oral presentation competition, winning the "Best Student Presentation Award." According to the judges, "Rachel's impressive delivery and confidence, as well as the depth of her research, lead her to win first place."
